Our client is one of the world's largest producers in the distribution, installation, commissioning, servicing, and software updates for Medical Diagnostic Imaging Equipment. As a pioneer in the medical equipment business, their company engages in the development of technology and products in the pursuit of offering the optimum healthcare solutions.

**The Role**:
Based in their Castle Hill warehouse, our client is seeking experienced forklift drivers with warehousing and stores experience to assist with day-to-day operations. Other tasks may include:

- Spare Parts and Finished Goods Receipts:

- Unloading vehicles and of pallets and placing goods in discrete storage locations
- Using a forklift to unload pallets on/off a truck and within the warehouse
- Quality Assurance:

- Checking goods for damage
- Processing binning lists and in-transit receipts
- Product identification:

- Ensuring that all goods are identified with product identification labels depicting the part numbers, descriptions, quantities, serial numbers, and bin locations
- Checking and processing oncoming goods from suppliers and branches are matched to purchase orders and transfers
- General warehouse duties:

- Maintaining the warehouse in a tidy and clean condition.
- Check on (and report) adverse storage conditions each month.
- Keep the work area safe for employees and visitors.
- Dispatch and inventory:

- Prepare consignment notes and consolidating goods
- Dispatching goods to branches / customers using approved transport carriers with cost effective freight mode to ensure goods arrive on time
- Ensuring adequate product packaging to protect goods whilst in transit
- Stocktake:

- Participate in receiving, locating and picking spare parts and finished good stocktakes
- Picking and dispatching stock

**Essential Criteria**:

- Valid forklift licence with sufficient operating experience
- Previous warehousing experience
- Ideal previous knowledge and experience with logistics operations
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Have a hardworking, self-motivated attitude
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of manual handling and WHS awareness
- A good level of physical fitness
- Own transport is ideal
- Available Monday to Friday
