Cafe Manager

We currently have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced **Cafe Manager** to assist in the management of our cafés located within the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

This is a floor-based role, where learning your customer base and knowledge is critical, as you will be on the machine pumping out consistent awesome coffees.

Reporting directly to the Retail Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the hands-on, day-to-day running and supervision of the on-site Retail Outlets. You will be multi-skilled with the ability to lead your team, meet financial targets, adhere to company standards, and drive operational excellence. Extensive on the job training will be provided.

This would suite a highly motivated team player and good communicator who is looking for a challenge in a high-volume operation.

Your key responsibilities will include (but not limited too)
- Financials - including labour, revenue & budget targets
- Managing staffing requirements, recruitment, and rosters
- Ordering and replenishing stock, including stock takes
- Customer Service standards of excellence
- Leadership and Training
- Compliance regarding Food Safety and WHS in line with company requirements

**Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

- Multitask, and maintain composure whilst under pressure
- Proven and successful background in retail sales, cafes and management
- A focus on providing excellent customer service
- Understanding of key cash controls and compliance
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Highly developed leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles

Pay: $68,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
