The YMCA is the fastest growing OSHC provider in the South East with over 50+ services, which in turn provides our staff with the ability to grow and move through the company as their careers head to the next level.

We are currently recruiting for a **Coordinator** on a **full-time basis, 38 hours per week** to join our team at **YMCA Berrinba East Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)** **Service.**

In this position, you will be the leader of the service responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and management of a team of Educators. You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of the other Coordinators, Senior Coordinator Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.

**Your workspace at The Y**

**YMCA Berrinba East Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)** is** **located within Berrinba East State School which offers a number of outdoor learning spaces. OSHC Berrinba East are licensed for 60 children.

We offer before and after school care from **6:30am to 8:30am** and **2:30pm to 6:00pm**, Monday to Friday. We also offer Vacation Care, operating from **6:30am to 6:00pm.**

At **YMCA Berrinba East** we play, connect and learn on Yugambeh and Jagera land and we support our families to connect with us, creating a home away from home for our children. YMCA Berrinba East has access to basketball courts, playgrounds, library, a bike track and a large oval space.

At YMCA Berrinba East OSHC, we utilise the team’s individual strengths and talents aligning to the children’s interests, to bring the most exciting and engaging experiences to our centre

**As an OSHC Coordinator you will assist with**:

- The development of quality programs;
- Manage the day to day running of the programs;
- Coordinate staffing and rostering of staff;
- Ensure compliance with policy;
- Undertake administrative requirements;
- Work collaboratively with families and the school community.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Completed (or close to completion) of relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (Minimum of Diploma in Children Services);
- Demonstrated experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare;
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining effective administration and correct documentation in an OSHC service;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain;
- Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
- NQF knowledge would be advantageous.
