About the role
You will be pivotal to the effective running and maturation of Federation University’s Agile capability, and to influence the development of an agile culture as the University commences its transition to new ways of working. You will be responsible for coaching and developing a high-performing, self-organising team, facilitating agile ceremonies, removing blockers to progress, and guiding the Agile squad to secure successful delivery of business outcomes.
You will:
- lead, coach, and embed responsible Agile practices, values and culture;- lead the team in the continuous improvement of scrum practices;- lead Program Increment planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, capacity planning and problem solving; and- in collaboration, provide strategic support to align sprint plans with the product roadmap and overall transformation agenda.
About you
You will have extensive experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban approaches with demonstrated experience of engaging in and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as retrospectives, showcases, sprint planning, stand-ups etc.
You will possess:
- demonstrated experience and ability in leading and coaching delivery teams to deliver outcomes;- demonstrable skills in leading, coaching and mentoring teams;- ability to summarise complex information for a wide range of stakeholder; and- ability to develop high-trust relationships with and across stakeholders at all levels.
