**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- At least relevant AQF Cert III or Cert IV qualifications or equivalent OR
- Three (3) years employment experience as a production horticulturalist with relevant formal training OR
- Five (5) years employment experience as a production horticulturalist with no formal training.
- Hard working ethics and good attitudes.
- Demonstrate strong genuine and long-term employment commitment.
- Prepare to relocate, live and work in regional area and regional adjustment.

**Required Experience**:

- At least two (2) years of relevant work experience.

**Position Summary**:
**On behalf of our client, Dojo Legal Australia**is looking for skilled and experienced **Production Horticulture Supervisor** who are responsible for overseeing horticultural production operations, managing teams and resources to ensure efficient, high-quality crop output.

This is a full-time position which may involve weekend or public holidays work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises (paid accordingly).

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Ensure scheduled crops for intended harvest have passed the withholding period.
- Ensure that all specialised harvest equipment is maintained.
- Ensure correct harvest to suit conditions of crop, soil moisture and variety to minimise any mechanical damage.
- Liaise with Farm Operation Manager/Shed Production Manager/ Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ensure quality of harvest throughout harvest period to minimise damage.
- Identify and report unusual disease or plant pest signs.
- Transport and store chemicals.
- Implement a post-harvest program.
- Establish horticultural crops.
- Carry out emergency disease or plant pest control procedures at infected premises.
- Coordinate work site activities.
- Perform shed nursery activities.
- Regulate crops.

Pay: From $68,865.00 per year
