Warehousing Traineeship

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are currently seeking a **Fulltime Warehouse Trainee** to join **Jaybro** at their warehouse in **Laverton North, Melbourne**. Jaybro is a leading supplier to the infrastructure industry, providing customers with quality products and expert advice for over 25 years. If you’re eager to learn and develop new skills, completing a qualification would be a great opportunity. Undertaking this two-year traineeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Logistic Specialist and earn your **Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations - Warehousing Operations (TLI30321)**.

You will be responsible for and contribute to:

- Stock Management
- Picking and packing items
- Physically unloading containers and pallets
- Organising freight consignments
- Processing purchase orders
- Operating RF Scanners and completing online training
- Using Pallet Jacks & Forklift machinery, if certified to do so
- Ensuring health and safety requirements are met

**ABOUT YOU**
- Have the desire to learn and have a positive attitude
- Energetic & proactive, acceptive of change/cross training - willingness to learn and grow
- Great communication and interpersonal skills - confidence to ask questions
- Attention to detail and basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment will be well regarded but not required
- Ambition to Wow internal & external customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Good safety awareness
- Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
- Forklift licence well regarded but if you are prepared to learn, we would look to put you through the course **at no cost to you**:

- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test and police check
- Be up to date with or willing to get COVID-19 vaccinations
