This Oatley family and child focused establishment operates three surgeries and is currently seeking to add a permanent part time Dental Assistant, 3 full days a week.**:

- Our Client is a family-run dental practice, passionate about delivering the highest quality dental care in line with their core values. This practice is run by 2 partners with a team of 4 Dental Assistants. This Oatley family and child focused establishment operates three surgeries and is currently seeking to add a permanent part time Dental Assistant, 3 full days a week.**About the role**:

- Choose your days to be either Wednesday, Thursday and Friday or Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8.45am to 6.30pm.- To be successful in a small practice environment you need to enjoy working with families and children. It requires someone who is warm and friendly and enjoys assisting a community focused practice and ideally a local to Oatley.**Duties may include:
- Assisting dentists, hygienists and therapists with a variety of dental procedures
- Preparing for and cleaning up after procedures, including the preparation of materials used in these treatments
- Assisting the dentist during these procedures, passing instruments, operating suction apparatus
- Efficient administration of the practice including stock control
- Acting as the first point of contact for patients at reception - taking payment, scheduling appointments, preparing them for procedures, explaining courses of prescribed treatments, updating patient records

**Qualifications skills and experience:
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised and an efficient manager of your time
- Meticulous and great attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity
- enjoys responsibility
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
- Skilled at multitasking
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or minimum 1 year experience
