**POULTRY FARM WORKER**

Family owned poultry farm in Port Wakefield, looking for an honest reliable Farm Worker for **IMMEDIATE** start.
- There is a 3br property that can be **rented** to the right applicant if needed.
- Flexible hours would be perfect for parents wanting work during school hours.
- We are looking for someone wanting long term ongoing employment.
- Experience in the poultry industry preferred but not essential, must have own license and reliable vehicle.
- It is quite a physical position at times therefore successful applicant would need to be quite fit.

- You must possess a strong work ethic and take pride in the work you do.
- You must be honest and reliable
- You must be able to follow instructions and work well as a team.
- Must be able to follow all RSPCA guidelines which you will be formally trained in.
- Must follow biosecurity guidelines which you will be formally trained in.

**Duties**

The following are the duties to be carried out and shall include but not be limited to:

- Bird weighing
- Tractor / vehicle / machinery operations
- Daily mortality collection
- Drinker / Feeder adjustments
- Weed Spraying / Whipper Snipping
- Cleaning
- General Maintenance
- Machinery Maintenance
- Record Keeping
- WHS Compliance
- Chemical Handling
- Bio-security measures
- Any other designated duties as requested by management.
- **Applicant can not have pet birds or pigs nor come in contact with either outside of working hours for bio-security measures.**_

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-42 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
