**Looking for a Part Time English/Mandarin/Cantonese speaking Medical Receptionist**

A part time position for 3 days a week on has become available for a friendly, medical receptionist to join an established medical surgery, located next to Bankstown train station. You will be working closely with friendly two family doctors.

We are looking for a customer focused part time medical receptionist with highly effective communication and coordination skills. You will be extremely detail oriented, highly organised and proactive with the ability to multi-task, triage and prioritise. Proficient computer skills are essential and knowledge of Best Practice medical software will be highly regarded.

Duties will include providing high level customer service, appointment booking, billing, receipting, account enquiries, scanning and general office administration.

**General Purpose of Position**:

- Provide exceptional standard of care to patients
- Facilitate the smooth running of the waiting room and respond to patient enquiries
- Appointment management - greeting patients, scheduling and billing
- Liaising with patients, medical staff and external healthcare professionals
- General administration assistance as required

**Essential criteria**
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate effectively with a variety of people
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good level of computer competency
- Previous experience in performing administration duties
- Cantonese/Mandarin and English speaking highly preferred

**Hours required**:
3 days per week, 9am to 5pm.

Ideally you will have flexibility to cover other days when required

This position requires an immediate start.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $20.33 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Flexible hours
- Rotating roster

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Patient Access Occupations: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Cantonese or Mandarin (required)
- English (required)
