**The Role**

Seequent is rapidly growing, allowing for an exciting opportunity in our APAC team as a Project R Geologist. Reporting to the Senior Technical Lead, Geology, you will become a product expert, engaging with our clients and users at both a technical and commercial level. Customer focused by nature; you will provide world class support to our users throughout their entire lifecycle. Your work will be varied and dynamic, ranging from creating sales opportunities, through to providing remote technical support and assisting with testing for emerging products and features. Although based in our Perth office, you will be a wider part of the highly collaborative global Expert Services team.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Play a key role in delivering our technical training, system support and project assistance services.
- Use your problem-solving skills to help our users with complex issues, being a customer advocate by providing feedback to our product development teams.
- Become an expert user of our products, conducting demos, webinars and supplying information about products prior to sale.
- Actively monitor customer satisfaction levels and consistently work to improve outcomes and experiences.
- Identify and create sales opportunities by proactively contacting our users and potential users.
- Travel to city and regional based offices and mine sites.

**In order to be successful in this role, you should have**:

- A tertiary qualification in Geoscience with proven experience in Australian or Overseas resource mining markets.
- Minimum 4 years geology experience in either an Exploration or Mine Geologist role and exposure to 3D Geological Modelling Software (Such as Leapfrog Geo).
- Excellent communication skills at a highly technical and professional level.
- Experience and solid understanding of the exploration and/or mining production environment.
- Customer focused, with the desire to always achieve a win-win solution.
- Ability to work well with other team members and to provide support and assistance.
- Experience in iron ore will be beneficial but not essential.
