We are a vibrant 24-hour hospital with a talented team of vets, nurses, and support staff - all working together to provide the best possible care to our clients and their pets.

Some of the duties will include:

- Greeting and managing clients and patients
- Answering busy phone lines, ability to handle multiple calls
- Scheduling appointments for multiple veterinarians and nurses
- Client and patient data management
- Providing administrative support to veterinarians and management
- Cleaning of reception and consult areas

The ideal applicant will have
- A solid professional background in providing outstanding customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a pleasant and professional phone manner
- Well-developed computer skills, including speedy typing and accurate data entry
- A willingness to go above and beyond to provide the best possible care to our clients
- Genuine empathy and understanding for people in difficult situations
- A strong work ethic with excellent organisational skills and time management
- A dedication to working well within a team and supporting co-workers from all areas of the hospital
- A commitment to learning and ongoing improvement
- The ability to work well under pressure and remain calm in emergency situations
- Availability to work on a rotating roster
- A love of animals great and small - including wildlife

Prior experience working in a veterinary practice or medical reception environment will be viewed favourably, as will any qualifications regarding animal care.
