- Category 5 Labour Management is a leading provider of Rail, Marine, Industrial Services and Trades personnel throughout Australia and New Zealand._

Our client is a major global company that provides a full range of services within the waste, water and energy services industries.

**The Role**:

- Site-Based_ Safety Advisor. This will initially be a 6-month assignment with the opportunity for ongoing work with a global leader.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Discuss, monitor, and assist with the workforce in the safe delivery of on-site activities
- Facilitate the training program and roster for bookings
- Updating of training matrix to ensure all employees training records are current
- Undertake safety audits and provide recommendations for improvements where required
- Identification of and facilitation of best practice standards and solutions
- Assisting with incident investigations and preparation of safety reports
- Incident investigations & Drug and Alcohol testing
- Develop, implement & review strategies to reduce risk
- Safety reporting to upper management

**To be successful in this role you will need to have the following**:

- Minimum of Cert 4 in Occupational Health and Safety
- Excellent Admin skills. There is considerable Admin involved in this role.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including ability to clarify and resolve issues
- Excellent time management
- Works well within a team
- Can do attitude
