**Overview of role**:
We are looking for a CAD Technician to join our Assets and Operations Team. In this fulltime fixed term (3 years) position, you will contribute to the planning, delivery, and management of capital works projects, ensuring that water and wastewater infrastructure continues to meet the needs of our communities.
**About the Role**:
**As a CAD Technician, you will**:
Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, surveyors and site teams to ensure all technical drawings, 3d models and digital data deliverables are accurate, timely and compliant with regulatory and internal design standards.
Help to deliver assigned projects within budget, time, and quality expectations.
Manage the storage and revision control of technical drawings, 3d models and digital data for treatment plants, assets and projects in all phases of design, construction or operation.
Producing and maintain high quality technical drawings, models, and digital assets for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Translate engineering concepts into accurate 2D and 3D representations.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
**What We’re Looking For**:
Either
Over two years of working knowledge and experience in CAD software and drafting within this software gained through industry experience.
Or
A tertiary qualification in Engineering.
