The Shire of Donnybrook Balingup is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Corporate Information Officer to join our Finance and Corporate team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the Shire meets its legislative obligations in information and records management, particularly under the new Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing (PRIS) Act 2024.

**We're looking for someone who...**
- Has strong knowledge of information management legislation and practices
- Demonstrates experience with EDRMS, including system upgrades and troubleshooting
- Can communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
- Works collaboratively across departments to drive information management improvements

**The key responsibilities in this role include...**
- Develop and implement records management policies and procedures
- Maintain and enhance the Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS)
- Support the transition to a new EDRMS including data migration and user training
- Act as the Freedom of Information (FOI) Officer for the Shire
- Provide training and support to staff in information management practices
- Handle customer enquiries and facilitate building information requests
