Busy Bees at Baldivis is a 104 place, purpose built centre with fantastic large rooms and large outdoor nature playgrounds. We are excited to have an opportunity for a Trainee Educator to join our enthusiastic team at Busy Bees Baldivis. As a Trainee Educator, you will embark on a fulfilling learning journey in the field of early childhood education while working alongside experienced educators and mentors.

For eligible persons support payments may apply, up to $5,000 over a two-year period for a full-time employee. All registered trainees receive paid study and training time. Free or subsidised course fees for eligible people may apply.

Essential Qualifications- Willingness to enrol in or currently enrolled in a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care (or its equivalent).- Must be eligible to obtain or already possess a valid Working With Children Check.

Essential Skills and Attributes- Demonstrated interest in early childhood education and a commitment to professional learning and development.- Basic verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues.- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and contribute positively to the service environment.- Punctuality and a sense of responsibility, recognizing the importance of consistency for children.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge- Any prior experience with children, such as babysitting, coaching, or volunteering, can be beneficial, even if it's not in a formal educational setting.- Some initial awareness of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) would be advantageous.- Basic proficiency in using technology, as there might be software or apps used for documentation or communication in the service.
