Disability Support Worker

We’re searching for an outstanding **Male Disability Support Worker** to join Future Butterfly’s team and support an incredible man in **Baxter**. This is **not just a job,** it’s an opportunity to become part of a care program that makes a meaningful impact in someone’s life every week.

You’ll be providing 1:1 **community access** support, assisting him to enjoy activities like **lawn bowls**, outings, and connection with the local community. You'll be playing a vital role in supporting his independence, helping him feel calm, understood, and empowered.

**We’re Looking For**:

- **Male support workers only** (required by the participant)
- **Exceptional communication skills** - you must speak clearly and confidently, with no heavy accents
- A calm, empathetic nature and a great sense of humour
- Experience supporting people with **behaviours of concern**:

- Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to build genuine rapport over time

**Must Have**:

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Driver’s licence and reliable car
- Experience with behaviours of concern and mental health support

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 18 per week
