After multiple successful recruitment campaigns, we are again ready to add to our growing team for our brand-new state-of-the-art 39,000sqm distribution centre in Broadmeadows. This month we are again seeking **team players** who take pride in their work, and who are keen to be trained up with our new bespoke automated system. We have both Full-Time and Part-Time positions available for the following shifts:

- 10am - 6:06pm
- 2pm - 10:06pm

Please note: Our Part-Time availabilities are available for people looking to work 3-4 full shifts per week.

**Who is GPC?**

You might not have heard of GPC, but you would have heard of some of our well-known brands including Repco, AMX, NAPA Autoparts, Sparesbox and McLeods Accessories. We are also proud to be the largest automotive aftermarket parts supplier in Australia and New Zealand.

**About the Storeperson role**:
Working as a Storeperson in our Broadmeadows DC, you will be an integral part of our supply chain division. Your hard work will ensure our stores and customers have the stock they need in a timely manner on a daily basis. Your role could see you unpacking deliveries from suppliers, picking orders to be sent to stores, or even operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment.

You will also be embraced into a supportive team culture focused on positivity and helping each other. Extensive training in all areas will be provided by both our management team and your peers. Working as a Storeperson you will learn a variety of skills in dispatching, inventory, and be trained up to work with our brand-new technology and automation.

**To thrive in a role as a Storeperson with us you will**:

- Be safety focused. We take safety seriously here, and our first priority is to ensure everyone in our Distribution Centres are working safe, and have a safe environment to work in.
- Have attention to detail. Accuracy matters when it comes to packaging products for delivery through to inputting product codes for putting away within the automation system.
- Be keen to work across various areas of the Distribution Centre. Your role could see you working within different areas of the DC over time, gaining new skills and experiences.
- Have the ability to commit to a specific shift roster on a continual basis.
- Be physically fit (lifting 10kgs and above could be required based on your capacity).
- Be interested and capable of obtaining a forklift license as part of your induction should it be required

Though not necessary as we are invested in upskilling our team (including assisting with obtaining LO/LF licenses as part of your onboarding), applicants who already hold LO/LF licenses are encouraged to apply.

Previous warehouse experience with a focus on receivables and dispatching would be highly advantageous, however is not a necessity requirement as full training will be provided for all successful applicants.
