As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be at the heart of our patient experience, creating a warm and welcoming environment.

Our Inner Brisbane North clinics are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team on a **full-time basis**, working rotating shifts, Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 5.30pm. You will be rostered to work across the Fortitude Valley, SO+GI, Ascot, Chermside clinics Wavell Heights, Strathpine and Albany Creek.

**Role Overview**:
As a Medical Receptionist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your responsibilities will include:
**1. Patient Interaction**:

- Greet patients courteously at reception.
- Answer patient calls for bookings and enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist patients with appointment scheduling.

**2. Administrative Tasks**:

- Manage medical records confidentially and efficiently.
- Process patient payments (cash, Eftpos, direct billing).
- Invoice Medicare, Private Health Funds, DVA and Workcover.
- Maintain a tidy reception waiting area.

**3. Collaboration**:

- Work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Communicate with referring doctors and staff courteously.
- Ensure accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records.

**4. Confidentiality**:

- Maintain patient personal and financial information confidentiality.
- Complete recalls and follow privacy protocols.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Prior experience working as a radiology receptionist will be highly advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills
