**The YMCA Vocational School **is a multi-campus educational community based in Logan, North Lakes, Redlands, Ipswich and Acacia Ridge. The School is a Special Assistance School offering alternative schooling programs to assist disengaged students in having the opportunity to reach their full potential through positive educational studies, activities and outcomes.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are now interested in appointing **a permanent, full-time Teacher **to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary team at the **Moreton Bay Junior Campus** located in **North Lakes, QLD**.

**The ideal applicant** will be looking for a challenge, have a passion for working with young people, a strong interest in the development of the holistic person, a personal interest in health and fitness, spirituality, personal well-being and values and ongoing professional development.
- You will have experience and/or interest in working within a trauma informed framework
- Dedicated to providing students with a real opportunity and commitment to continuous improvement is celebrated each and every day
- You will be supported and encouraged to take ownership of our purpose built 21st century learning spaces;
- You can make a real impact in the lives of some of South East Queensland's most disadvantaged young people.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Hold a relevant Bachelor degree, current Queensland Teacher Registration, First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications;
- Be able to demonstrate practical experience teaching and supporting young people and the development of positive student relationships;
- Work successfully in a small team and within the schools' philosophy & ethos to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
