**About the role**:
Reporting to the Scheduling Supervisor, the Scheduler Planner is primarily responsible for coordinating the efficient scheduling of customer bulk deliveries within fuel, jet, marine and rail supply in a timely and safe manner and ensuring all deliveries meet or exceed customers requirements.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Optimise the output of dedicated scheduling tool
- Maintain inventory levels
- Analyse scheduling system outputs
- Manage deliveries to the company and contractor fleets
- Ensuring statutory compliance are met with regulations and company standards
- Effective use of business tools which includes SAP and ORTEC
- Provide telephone support and respond to customer enquires
**About you**:
You are a team player with a positive can-do attitude and have proven success in the ability to make decisions and problem solve. Previous experience in Transport and Logistics is ideal however for the right person we are willing to train and upskill.
You display a strong customer focus and have a strong achievement focus and high energy levels and commitment to end results.
**Key skills and experience**:
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in scheduling systems is ideal (not essential)
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Good communications skills (both verbal and written)
- Customer service experience
