**Role Summary**

As the Product Owner you will be collaborating with the program team and delivery Lead and relevant internal and external stakeholders with a large focus on managing development and delivery of the digital program of work to ensure product planning for a large scale digital transformation of a large government agency.

**About the Role**
- This role requires accountability;
- To lead and manage stakeholder engagement to understand business goals, metrics and strategy to be incorporated into product planning.
- Engage and the design system to understand the dynamics and goals of users.
- Optimising delivery by identifying and recommending appropriate solutions to complex problems.
- Working with user experience and user research teams to analyse user behaviour and needs.
- Support the roadmap delivery to fulfil the product vision by building and launching product features.

**Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Project Management or relevant field/experience.
- Strong experience as a Product Owner in large complex organisation, governments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders. As well as the liaison between the business and program team with a close working relationship with the Business Analysts and Change Managers.
- Experience in digital design systems and working with high frequency agile sprint perspectives.
- Understanding end user requirements to ensure the development and streamline user experience
- Experience in leading teams to deliver business requirements, quality assurance, test coordination and training.
- Experience with project financials (project estimating, forecasting and budgeting)
