About the Role
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families? As a Case Manager in our Intensive Family Preservation & Restoration (IFPR) program, you’ll play a vital role in helping families navigate complex challenges with empathy, respect, and care.
You’ll work closely with families to understand their unique needs, build trust, and develop tailored support plans that promote safety, stability, and healing. This role is more than case management—it’s about walking alongside families during some of their most vulnerable moments and empowering them toward positive change. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values collaboration, innovation, and cultural sensitivity. Together, we strive to create safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive and families can rebuild.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a full caseload aligned with program targets
- Build strong relationships with children, families, carers, and DCJ staff
- Conduct assessments and develop case plans using the Parents Under Pressure (PUP) framework
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to case reviews
- Participate in professional development and supervision
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and culturally respectful workplace
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Services
- Experience in child protection and case management
- Strong understanding of OOHC and relevant legislation
- Skills in assessment, counselling, and family support
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NSW Driver’s Licence and Working with Children Check
