Shaver Shop is Australia’s market leading specialist retailer in the rapidly growing personal grooming market. Shaver shop dominates its core business of both men’s and female hair removal. In addition to Shaver Shop’s core business, it enjoys a healthy market position across many other personal care categories such as power oral care, massagers, female beauty & hair care.

Shaver Shop currently supports its 125 corporate owned stores located across Australia and New Zealand via a Support Office team of around 50 people.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Assistant in our Buying team This is a great chance to advance your career in Buying whilst working in a fast paced, dynamic, results driven team.
- **About You**_
- Ideally, some previous experience in a Buying Assistant role or similar type role.
- Hands-on operator who has a strong understanding of buying and retail operations.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Passionate about providing customer service excellence (day in and day out).
- Proactive, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn & growth from direct and constructive feedback.
- Resilient with a high emotion IQ and thirst for self-development and professional growth.
- Ability to work in a team or autonomously with effective communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to successfully support and coordinate activity with suppliers,
- Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills.

- First point of contact for the Buying department for internal and external inbound queries.
- Managing and championing the administrative functions of the Buying team.
- Supporting the Buying team to communicate and execute agreed promotional activity.
- Supporting the Buying team with communicating and executing new product innovation.
- Maintaining core product range by category and supplier.
- Managing data integrity across all POS platforms.
- Preparing, publishing, and maintaining various internal reports.
- Successful development of online content for website with key suppliers.
- Review of all catalogues, EDM and event creatives.
