We are proud of our growing national footprint which we attribute to our high quality and cost effective products. **About the Opportunity**: As a result of growth within Australia, Jungheinrich are looking to appoint an Area Salesperson to be part of our ongoing success. You will be an integral part of the sales team and report to the Sales Manager in Brisbane. This position is responsible for sales of new and used forklifts as well as long-term hire contracts within your allocated territory. **About the Role: -** - Sustainable development of existing customer relationships - Planning and execution of customer visits according to targets by customer segments to ensure increased market exploitation - Identification of potential customers by market observation, research, and acquisition - Consulting across business departments for a holistic market exploitation and internal communication with the respective departments according to guidelines (area management) - Ensuring customer-oriented and qualified solutions in the offer process - Negotiations and timely completion of opportunities according to targets - Participation in regional events (e.g., fairs, conferences) to increase market exploitation - Sustainable follow-up of opportunities and leads - Proactive promotion and support of product demonstrations - Personal handover and demonstration of trucks **Your key attributes**: - Truly passionate about establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships - Relentless desire to grow sales within a region - Driven by a customer centric ethos - Outstanding interpersonal skills - Ability to effectively manage competing priorities - Logistics, material handling or capital equipment industry will be highly regarded but is not essential - Computer literacy and a working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products **What you can expect at Jungheinrich**: We recognise that the commitment of our employees is the basis for our success and we continuously invest in talent.
