**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Barista to operate our on-site café. This is your opportunity to delight our residents, guests and staff with a delicious cup of coffee, breaky or lunch working at Bert Newton** **in Highett. This is a Part Time position working Monday to Wednesday from 0930 to 1430.

You will provide excellent food and beverage service, work the till, manage stock, and adhere to food safety standards. Within weeks you'll remember our regular's coffee orders. You'll promote a welcoming atmosphere at the village and fill the café with amazing aromas that will be hard to resist.

Our village is nearing completion and anticipated to officially open in November. Please note this role will be required to commence on November 4th. If successful following the first stage of screening you may be invited to interview with us in the week commencing 7th October.

**About You**

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

- Barista related qualification or relevant experience is highly desired. Although this is not essential if you have the right attitude to learn to keep our residents, staff and family members caffeinated
- Experience working in a hospitality environment. Minimum food safety certificate required - however we are willing to support the attainment of this
- Exceptional interpersonal skills. Our customers love a chat
- Reliable, professional and proactive nature
