**About the Team**

The Strategic Finance team provides Go1’s senior leaders with strategic, operational, and analytical thought partnership to scale and improve the performance of the business. As a member of the team, you will help drive Go1’s financial planning and some of its critical cross-functional initiatives to scale the business and realise our vision to reach 1 billion learners.

**About The Role**

In this highly visible position as Strategic Finance Lead, you’ll help drive the key operating cadences of the business (annual planning, monthly / quarterly reporting). You will also have significant ownership to drive business-critical initiatives in close coordination with multiple functional partners (RevOps, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance and more)

**Requirements**:
**What You’ll Do**
- Refine and maintain the company’s forecast model
- Help drive our strategic planning cadences by building positive relationships with collaborators in the business and understanding our operational levers
- Provide recommendations on how to adjust capital allocations to track towards our long-term strategic goals
- Prepare timely and accurate reporting to help our Board, Investors and Executive Team make better and faster decisions
- Support critical company initiatives including fundraising, M&A, 409A valuations and system and operational improvements to enable operating at scale

**What you'll need to thrive at this role**
- You have demonstrated ability at a top-tier investment bank (TMT), VC, strategic finance, commercial finance or FP&A team
- You have a keen analytical mind and expert financial modelling skills. You can accurately model the strategic and financial impact of commercial activities, providing financial analysis to support decision making
- You can zoom in and out of the details. Whilst you love to roll up your sleeves and get in the details, you can zoom out and explain your findings to your collaborators and a senior audience
- You are a project management ace and can work with a diverse set of collaborators to help drive cross-functional projects from inception to completion
- You understand accounting. Whilst we are not looking for accountants, a foundational knowledge of accounting is key as this role coordinates our three-statement financial model
- Last but certainly not least, you are a great teammate who will support and uplift other team members
