Hydraulic Fitter

We are looking for an experienced hydraulic fitter to join team of skilled personnel.

This position will be responsible for:
Fitting hydraulic systems
- Review technical drawings and specifications to deter appropriate work procedures for hydraulic system and repairs
- Assemble components and subassemblies using various tools and equipment
- Fabricate and install hydraulic pipework and fittings, including cutting, threading bending and securing steel and flexible lines.
- Fitting basic 24v electronic and pneumatic systems
- Testing finished units
- Conduct system diagnostics and Maintaining accurate records of service, repairs and part replacements, including testing data and schematics.
- Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs, or overhauls of pumps, valves, actuators and cylinders.
- Install and align hydraulic machinery and equipment on site ensuring compliance with operational and safety requirements

Hours worked:
7:00am-3:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00am-1:00pm Friday

Successful applicants must have:

- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or Equivalent
- Relevant previous experience
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Machining experience desirable but not required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
