Located at the University of Wollongong’s School of Physics, the Centre for Medical Radiation Physics (CMRP) is one of the largest medical physics research centres in the South-East Asia-Pacific region contributing to pioneering research and innovation.

The Research Fellow will develop a cutting-edge deep-learning dose engine to verify adaptive X-ray radiotherapy treatment plans for head and neck cancers, in collaboration with our partner hospitals across Australia, leveraging their expertise in deep learning and Monte Carlo simulation using Geant4 to improve radiotherapy treatment accuracy and effectiveness.
