Thankfully, our brand is a door opener and you'll be working with existing customers also. **Description** **What You’ll Do** - Support the development and execute a coordinated Public Sector strategy that unifies our approach to the market, and is underpinned by cross lob Local, State and Federal Government tailored solutions, collateral and marketing. - Responsible for the positioning and identification of SaaS new business opportunities by leveraging existing relationships in the Public Sector and assist in co-ordinating the team to ensure Oracle’s continued success in the Public Sector. - Acts as key liaison between the political and burecratic customer and Oracle Marketing, Sales, and Oracle Development and own and assist with key business development activities. - Nurtures key third party relationships. - Generates revenue through prospecting, mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. - Develops and coordinates nationwide relationships with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor - especially at the political level. - Plans, implements and executes strategies and plans to successfully grow the business. - Provides account representatives with information and collateral on how the solutions address specific policy needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. - Identify, map and manage key political relationships acros all tiers of government. - Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close. - Lead large deal/ tender strategy to ensure high quality responses are submitted. ***: **Required Skills/Experience**: **What You’ll Bring** Your enthusiasm, knowledge, and customer-centricity will help us become the number one cloud company in the world. - Strong relationships with Local, State and Federal Governments across Australia at the Director of Corporate Services level or equivalent - History of selling to the Public Sector or former Senior Government executives - Understand the entire Public Sector ecosystem, drivers, procurement processes and challenges - Experience in developing and executing go to market strategies - Ability to manage virtual teams. **Expected Outcomes in the Role**: - Increased awareness and accelerated engagement across the Public Sector - Increased qualified pipeline - Understanding the timing of planned procurement by LOB across the Public Sector - Tailored go to market strategy - Become a vendor of choice in the Public Sector - Effective and compelling collateral - Unified messaging to the sector that resonates - Strengthened partner relationships. - Competitive intelligence ***: **Detailed Description and Job Requirements** Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle. A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the product*s sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities.
