Mechanical Technician

We are seeking skilled and experienced **Mechanical Technicians** to become valuable members of our professional team on a full-time and permanent basis. We seek trustworthy individuals with integrity who will bring a positive, can-do attitude to both the role and the team.

The role includes but is not limited to:

- Perform regular scheduled maintenance service on a range of vehicle or equipment
- Use computerised diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issues with mechanical system
- Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, and reassembling mechanical components referring to service manuals as needed
- Develop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- Complete and maintain service and inspection documentations ensuring its compliance
- May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
- May respond to vehicle or equipment breakdown service calls
- Maintain a tidy work environment and adhering to health and safety regulations.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Mechanical Technician trade qualification or equivalent
- Strong mechanical knowledge on a wide variety of vehicle and equipment
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Strong diagnostic abilities
- Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
- Must have great work ethics

**Salary**: Between $75,000 and $80,000 per annum + Super

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
