About us

After recent reconceptualising, Blacksmith Bar and Grill is looking for a F&B manager to take our service to the next level.

Beautifully appointed and now with a complete vison and direction, Blacksmith Bar and Grill has a lot to offer. Its snug bar with sensational views is a cosy refuge for our hotels guests and is starting to gather a regular following of guests from outside the hotel as well.

Initially concentrating on the bar team, you will be charged with developing systems and processes to ensure the bar runs smoothly each and every service. Reporting into and collaborating with the Restaurant Manager, you will also assist with the smooth running of the restaurant. Our dining offer centres around a quality local ingredient simply prepared focusing on flavour. Our beverage offer that is sophisticated but unpretentious. This is also true of the bar. Service is knowledgeable and convivial. True Hospitality.

A little about you

First and foremost, your passion is people - managing, training, leading. A intuitive host, with excellent communication skills you will be adept at dealing with all hotel stakeholders. You are a natural collaborator, partnering with all other department heads to ensure a seamless guest experience. You will also have proven skills at managing providing excellent customer service whilst keeping an eye on the bottom line. You will be well versed in stock control, ordering and understanding COGS.

A truly modern manager, you are cool under pressure able to work to multiple priorities. You will provide your team am secure work environment, setting goals and giving them the tools and feedback for success.
