Freelance Brand Designer

**About this role**:
As a Freelance Brand Designer, you'll be working with the marketing department at Stake, within an in-house team of fellow designers, copywriters, motion designers, editors and content writers.

We care deeply about the Stake brand, and you'll have an exciting foundation to build upon. You'll receive briefs from our local and global marketing teams to create trully rewarding, portfolio-worthy work that supports a diverse range of campaigns and initiatives. You get to think outside the box, present ideas, and be involved with the production and delivery of campaigns. Things get made here. Fast.

We're in an exciting time of growth and your role will develop over time, but core parts of the job will include:

- Ideation and conceptualisation of epic campaigns and the branding that goes with it
- Rollout of campaign assets including above-the-line comms, digital and social assets, webpages merch, product - anywhere the brand shows up in the wild
- Web design and maintenance of the component library
- Art direction of digital videos and animations

**A bit about you**:

- You love teamwork, collaborating with web developers, writers and directors in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, especially when explaining design principles and design decisions to the non-designers of the team
- Strong work ethic, kindness and empathy is mandatory - especially under pressure
- You're hungry for exciting work that will elevate your design game further

A bit about your skills:

- Ideally you have experience in:

- Working in a creative or design agency
- Designing and creating social media content, EDMs, and web
- Working within design systems and guidelines
- Delivering print-ready files for ATL channels (print, OOH etc.)
- Storyboarding, concept development and design for motion
- Confluence, Jira, Slack and G Suite
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (incl. Figma and PremierPro)
- Sound understanding of web design (Components, type styles, accessibility, etc)
