**Passionate Support Worker Wanted - Rydalmere**

We are seeking a caring and reliable **Support Worker** to assist a warm Russian family in providing personal care for their mother, an elderly lady living with moderate dementia.

The client has recently reverted to primarily speaking Russian due to her condition, so **Russian language skills are highly valued but not essential**. The daughter-in-law (who speaks both English and Russian) is at home and can assist with communication where needed.

The family is looking for the _right match_ after previous mismatches, and would like to trial and build trust with the support worker from the start.

**Role Details**:

- **Initial Stage**: Once a week (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday) between **4-6pm**, with the son present to provide guidance, training, and introduction to the client’s routine.
- **Ongoing Stage**: Once the right support worker is found, the role will transition to a **weekday schedule (Monday-Friday), 2 hours per day** with flexible timing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and companionship with patience and respect.
- Assist with mobility (manual handling experience required; hoist operation may be needed).
- Maintain the client’s comfort and dignity in daily activities.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or above.
- Valid Police Check.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (minimum 2 doses) or exemption certificate.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
