MC Herd is a leading and well-established domestic and export meat processing operation committed to the highest standards of sustainability, and excellence in the industry. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Drover/Livestock Hand to join our tea
**Responsibilities**:
- Safely and effectively move and manage livestock, including herding, sorting, and loading/unloading.
- Follow all safety protocols and animal welfare guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Operate and maintain machinery used in daily tasks.
- Keep accurate records of livestock movement and health.
**Qualifications/Experience**:
- Previous experience as a Drover/Livestock Hand is preferred.
- Knowledge of livestock behaviour and best practices for animal care.
- Experience working with Sheep and running efficient count checks.
- A background operating working dogs.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months
**Salary**: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
