**Landscape 1st Year Apprentice**

Meakscapes Landscapes are a landscape construction company rapidly expanding within the Sydney/ Sydney Southwest region.

We are currently seeking a **1st year apprentice landscaper** to join our fast growing team to commence or continue their apprenticeship.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Passionate and a willingness to learn & grow within a busy, fast-paced landscaping business
- Strong commitment to learning the landscape trade and completing a 4 year apprenticeship.
- Due to the type of work, you will need to be physically fit
- You are an honest, well-presented individual to grow within our business
- You have strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
- You have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to get you to and from job sites.
- OH&S White Card
- You are looking to, or currently, undertaking an enrolled course at TAFE in Landscape Construction as an apprentice.
- Can take directions from management and follow instructions accordingly
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual

**WHAT MEAKSCAPES OFFER**
- This role is available for start in January in a full-time capacity
- Typical hours: 7am - 3:30pm Mon - Fri. Applicants may be required to work some Saturdays.
- You will be trained in all aspects of landscaping including decking, turfing, brickwork, concreting, paving, timberwork, irrigation, planting, and many more.

- Work across a variety of landscaping projects - primarily residential.

- Above award wages + overtime

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.

Pay: From $13.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
- Performance bonus

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- White Card (preferred)
