Maleny Dairies is a family-owned business based in the picturesque hills of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We are a progressive dairy processor with a passion for supporting the local community, and the environment. We are a local business success story that has been packaging and supplying milk products to supermarkets, cafes, and other retailers for many years. In addition to this, our farm welcomes an average of 30,000 visitors a year, delivering 3-4 tours daily, with our tourists greatly contributing to the success of the Maleny Dairies brand.

The Hopper family has owned the Maleny Dairies property since 1948. The owners and directors of the business, Ross and Sally Hopper are the third generation to live and work on the family farm in Maleny. Ross grew up here and married Sally in 2005. Her family are also long-term locals and have been dairying in Maleny for five generations, since 1906. Their children will be the fourth generation of Hopper’s running the family farm and business a key group whose job it is to ‘make it happen’.

**The Opportunity**

Based in the rolling green hills of Maleny QLD, we have fantastic opportunities available for an experienced Accounts Officer to join the Maleny Dairies team on a full-time basis working up to 38 hrs. per week Monday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, resilient ambitious self stater who is looking to join a thriving business who is looking to develop there career.

The role will be responsible for:

- timely receiving & accurate approvals of accounts receivable
- daily processing of accounts payable
- daily bank reconciliations
- entering all accounts payable/receivable into accounting software
- undertaking finance-related projects
- administrative tasks and duties
- supporting our Chief Financial Officer and Finance Manager where required
- Administration and front of house duties

**About you**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accounts payable and receivable position preferably in the FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of MYOB or similar
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- An organised approach to work including excellent time management skills and the ability to manage and achieve competing deadlines
- A high level of motivation, excellent work ethic and an innovative approach to your work
