**Job Overview**

As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction tasks. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. You will work closely with our team to ensure all jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

**General Maintenance & Repairs**
- Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting work.
- Diagnose and fix general maintenance issues in residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure property upkeep.

**Renovation & Installation**
- Assist with renovations, including flooring, cabinetry, and fixture installations.
- Assemble and install furniture, shelving, and fittings as required.
- Work with various tools and materials to complete repair and improvement projects.

**Landscaping & Outdoor Work**
- Carry out basic landscaping tasks such as fencing repairs, paving, and garden maintenance.
- Install and repair decks, pergolas, and outdoor structures.

**Site Coordination & Safety**
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure job expectations are met.

**Key Skills & Competencies**
- Hands-on experience with general maintenance, repairs, and construction work.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Previous experience in handyman services, property maintenance, or construction.
- Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or painting is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety and first aid is an advantage.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Annual bonus

**Experience**:

- Handyman: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
