We are looking for a **friendly **Dental Assistant (**part-time or casual**) to join our great team to work for 2-4 days per week, including some occasional half-day Saturdays. Ideally **available Tuesdays** plus two other days. We are expanding over time, so the option to increase to full-time is available.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be:

- Assisting the dentist with clinical procedures and treatments
- Sterilisation of instruments and preparation for procedures
- Open and close down of clinical areas
- Oral hygiene and post-operative instruction with patients
- General patient support and care
- Practice stock and equipment maintenance and testing

Skills and experience
- Experience as a Dental Assistant (minimum 12 months) and/or Dental Assistant qualifications (Cert III/IV)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Emergency and first aid training
- Ability to show initiative
- Enjoy working in a team
- A sense of humour and a positive outlook
- Able to work flexible hours including some Saturdays

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Darlinghurst, NSW 2010: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Dental assistance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Dental Assisting qualification (Cert III or IV) (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
