The Lonestar Tavern is a localentertainment venue in SEQ, with a 45-machine gaming floor, steakhouse restaurant, function rooms and bars, and a fully supervised Kids Club.

About the Position...

As a member of our gaming team, you will help to create an unforgettable experience with 45 gaming machines, a cashier, Keno, and a gaming bar.

Our team is comprised of friendly and welcoming personalities with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to reliably and professionally deliver genuine and exceptional customer service.

You will also be expected to perform the following duties in this role:

- Giving members and guests prompt, friendly customer-focused advice and assistance with machines or loyalty systems.
- Take food/drink orders and communicate effectively.
- Provide efficient customer service to members and visitors.
- Cleaning and keeping the work area clean and tidy.
- Handle cash and gaming transactions efficiently while ensuring cash security and the privacy of members' information.
- Delivering quick and customer-focused beverage service to members and visitors.

As someone with prior experience in hospitality or another field that involves serving customers, you should have a passion for providing top-notch customer service in addition to a willingness to develop lasting relationships with clients.

As a member of our team, you should be equipped with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Additionally, you will need to be capable of adapting to working shifts 4-6 days a week, including on holidays.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and competencies:

- knowledge and experience regarding electronic gaming machines
- understanding of RSG statutory requirements
- a track record of managing a varied demography
- Ability to establish trusting relationships with customers
- Effective organisation and time management abilities
- Immaculate personal presentation and service

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a hospitality or gaming environment (minimum of 2 years) is preferred.
- Certificate of Responsible Alcohol Service (can acquire after employment)
- Gaming Responsible Service (can acquire after employment)
- Comply with Queensland Health's current vaccine mandate.
