Superintendent Water

**THE ROLE**

Downer is looking for an experienced and solutions-oriented **Superintendent**to oversee the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects in the Logan region. **Based in our Beenleigh office**, you will play a key role in coordinating construction operations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring zero harm and quality outcomes in all aspects of project delivery.
- Some of the key responsibilities include: _- Lead construction delivery, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination- Contribute to early contractor involvement (ECI) and provide constructability input- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams- Mentor supervisors and contribute to team capability and leadership- Actively participate in safety, quality, and environmental processes in alignment with Downer's Zero Harm standards.

**ABOUT YOU**

You’re a hands-on leader with deep expertise in civil construction, particularly within the water or wastewater sector. You’re confident managing teams and subcontractors on-site, bring a strong safety-first mindset, and thrive in a collaborative environment where quality, compliance, and innovation are key.- Minimum 10 years' project delivery experience in water and wastewater infrastructure, ideally in SEQ- Certificate IV in Building, Civil Construction, or Frontline Management (or equivalent experience)- Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and daily site operations- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills- Solid understanding of Zero Harm, environmental compliance, and scheduling principles
