Early Childhood Educator- Team Leader

Attwood Childcare Centre and Kindergarten is currently seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic Team Leader. The centre is located on the grounds of Agriculture Victoria and is situated on property that provides a rural setting. The centers philosophy focuses on sustainability and the natural environment and is a not for profit organization that is committed to the rights of all children to feel safe, and be safe at all times.

The centre currently has a maternity leave position available and is seeking an experienced Lead Educator to lead a team of 3 educators in our 6 week to 2.8 year old room whilst also maintaining a theoretically sound curriculum that provides a program for each child that enhances their learning.

This is an amazing opportunity to join an exceeding, not for profit 67 place child care centre and kindergarten run by a Committee of Management that supports the staff in numerus ways.

**Essential Criteria**:
The successful applicants will be required to:

- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood
- Have experience as a Lead Educator
- Hold a Current Working with Children Check and approved First Aid Certificate
- Completed the Mandatory child protection training
- Computer skills

- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to plan, implement and work within a child centered play-based program
- Demonstrated ability to form positive, collaborative working relationships with all families and colleagues
- Demonstrated Leadership skills and qualities
- Professional attitude and presentation

**Job details**:4 day week, 8.5 hour day, working on a rotating roster
