Product Designer

**About The Role**:
Are you a lover of Product Designs? Do you have experience creating innovative Product visual designs? Do you see details in pixels?

Yes? Unikrn currently has an open Product Designer role you might be interested in.

As unikrn’s Product Designer you are expected to understand user and business needs. Defining the design process through research and matching them with unikrn’s business objectives. You will develop user - Friendly solutions that align with the product’s vision, iterating based on our user feedback. You will work with unikrn’s cross-functional teams, communicating design decisions. Also you will ensure there is an alignment between designs, our users and unikrn’s goals.

This role can be based in Sydney or Wellington.

What you will be doing:
Meet The Business
- Collaborating with stakeholders to draft the problem needed to be solved
- Researching, helping define success metrics and track them
- Communicating your design decisions effectively and backing them up with facts or rationale

Meet The Customer
- Understanding the design needs of our users and addressing them with a cunning user experience
- Understanding the benefits of researching and have the know how to accomplish it

Product Experience
- Utilizing data tools to track the product and make adjustments
- Knowing the ins and outs of digital products and can make tangible adjustments to improve the experience

Drive Innovation
- Seeing problems from a different perspective and seeing them through

What We Are Looking for
- 3+ years of experience delivering products.
- Knowledge in user research methodologies and techniques.
- Knowledge of data tools and how they inform better outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Expertise in Figma.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.

Familiarity with front-end development technologies and their impact on design.
- Ability to iterate and adapt designs based on user feedback and usability testing.
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address design challenges.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and improving design systems for consistent and scalable design solutions
