**About the position**
Council’s Arts & Culture Department is looking for an Information Librarian who will be responsible for engaging with the community in Frankston City Libraries to deliver and promote library services, and facilitate lifelong learning and access to information.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Deliver excellent customer service in all aspects of library information / Council customer service in accordance with the systems and practices of the library service and Frankston City Council.
- Resolve complex customer queries, complaints and other escalated issues to ensure fair and appropriate outcomes
- Supervise library staff and provide guidance on operational matters.
This is a part time role working 21 hours per week. The roster required for the role is:
Week One
Monday 9-2 at Frankston library
Thursday 8.45 - 5.15 at Seaford library (30 minute lunch break)
Friday 8.45 - 5.15 at Seaford library (30 minute lunch break)
Week Two
Monday 9-2 at Frankston library
Thursday 8.45 - 5.15 at Seaford library (30 minute lunch break)
Friday 9.30 - 6pm at Carrum Downs library (30 minute lunch break).
**About you**
- You will have a tertiary qualification in Library and Information Services which confers professional membership to ALIA

This position is a Band 5A currently remunerated at $82,567.33 per annum (pro rata), plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
