The purpose of the Production & Replenishment Planner role is to develop weekly production plans for execution by the Koko Black production facility and the 3rd party packers that are aligned with demand and supply plans, support sales objectives and ultimately support the Supply Chain team and Production team achieving their targets in relation to output, customer service, schedule adherence and inventory accuracy.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Production Planning**:

- Finalise and issue a weekly production plan for the Koko Black production facility
- Work with the Production Scheduler to ensure that the plan is scheduled in a way that first and foremost supports the sales objectives of the business
- Assist in the replanning of incomplete work orders, approve closing of incomplete work orders where required
- Work with the Materials Planner to ensure the weekly production plan is supported by the required packaging and materials
- Advise the production scheduler of any issues which may affect the delivery of the weekly production plan
- Highlight short term stock shortages
- Work with the Production Scheduler to ensure that known material shortages are worked around as appropriate - escalate if required
- Work with the Production Scheduler to resolve schedule adherence issues
- Support new product launches and run outs
- Co-ordinate the thawing processes required to support the seasonal gift box packing plans
- Utilise back-order report to ensure gift boxes packing plans are fully supported

**3**rd** Party Packing Plans**:

- Finalise and issue a weekly packing plan
- Work with the packing site to ensure that the plan is scheduled in a way that first and foremost supports the sales objectives of the business
- Issue 3rd party picking plans to the inbound warehousing team
- In conjunction with the 3rd party manage the finished good, packaging and component inventory both digitally and physically

**Stock Management and Customer Service**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to the retail channel
- Work with the Supply Chain Officer to reconcile stock availability to optimise availability and revenue
- Review orders and make amendments as necessary
- Place additional transfer orders to support stock availability
- Review and control(?) transfer orders for events such as product launches, promotions, seasonal ranges.
- Raise transfer orders in line with relevant processes where required
- Supervise auto-replenishment process in conjunction with Retail Operations Team
- Support the retail activation objectives on a weekly/monthly basis
- Completing wastage reports (finished goods, packaging and ingredients) to support waste targets

**Supply Chain Support and Special Projects**:

- Support continuous improvement activities across the business
- Ensure accuracy of system information
- Ensure the availably of samples and support the sample process
- Support the correct inventory setup for the management of the 3rd party suppliers
- Where necessary and required support and cover other roles and duties within the Supply Chain Team
- Support seasonal activity and processes

**Skills and Attributes**
- Strong PC based skills, ERP, Microsoft Excel etc.
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Self-Motivation and drive to regularly meet deadlines
- Well-developed communication skills, and ability to engage across multiple stakeholders.
- Agile and flexible approach to handle changing work requirements and competing priorities
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification - Supply Chain, or Business based undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience

**Experience**
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in either Food or FMCG.
