The Company
Swick Mining Services is Australia’s largest Underground Diamond Drilling Contractor with the most innovative and reliable rigs in the industry.
We are searching for a suitably experienced Rotables Coordinator to join the Engineering team at South Guildford. This role is responsible for managing the complete Rotables process from the ground up; to deliver a basic, robust and cost effective “rotable” management solution.
The Role
As the Rotables Coordinator, your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

- Use extensive planning experience to develop and clearly articulate rotable management process
- Introduce mechanisms to ensure compliance from a “systems” level
- Work with workshop supervisor to prioritise processing of rotable equipment in the workshop.
- Work with suitable suppliers (both locally and further abroad where applicable) to ensure the very best products and services are achieved at the lowest possible cost.
- Ensure monthly reporting of activities is supplied to Product Manager in an agreed format detailing associated progress, performance and cost objectives.
- Work closely with the Operations Department (onsite teams) and Maintenance Manager to ensure any changes in works priority are quickly assessed and implemented when required.
- Develop analytical tools to monitor all aspects of rotable performance in the field
- Make recommendations for changes that will improve rotable life performance, reliability and durability
- Demonstrated senior management experience in a maintenance environment (preferably within the mining or drilling industry).
- Excellent interpersonal, management and leadership qualities.
- Experience in development of use of fundamental maintenance related analytical tools.
- Strong reporting skills to demonstrate “value” of changes made and also to identify and address any potential budget overruns.
- C Class Drivers Licence
- Previous and substantial experience in use of CMMS software/processes such as Mainpac, Pronto, Navision or similar;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a maintenance or planning field
- Minimum of 10 - 15 years industry experience (preferable).
- Knowledge of all relevant legislative requirements Mining, OHS&E, etc).
