**Your New Role**:
We are presently recruiting a proficient Construction Health and Safety Advisor to join our client's team. As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in upholding and enhancing their commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards. By collaborating closely with various teams, you will ensure that safety remains paramount across all projects, contributing significantly to the company's ongoing success.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Your key responsibilities will encompass:

- Create, implement, and oversee comprehensive health and safety protocols in accordance with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments across project sites, identifying potential hazards and proposing effective preventive measures.
- Design and deliver targeted safety training programs for employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, delivering detailed reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Regularly inspect project sites to verify compliance with safety regulations and provide expert guidance on corrective actions.
- Promote a culture of safety consciousness and responsibility, motivating all team members to prioritize safety in their daily tasks.
- Keep accurate records, reports, and documentation to ensure transparency and compliance.

**What You Need To Succeed**:
To excel in this role, you will need:

- A background in safety, construction, engineering, or related fields, supported by experience in construction health and safety management.
- Relevant certifications in H&S (minimum Cert IV) or equivalent.
- Profound understanding of local and national health and safety regulations in construction.
- Strong communication abilities to conduct effective training, present findings, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Keen attention to detail in identifying risks and ensuring rigorous compliance with safety protocols.
- Robust analytical skills to assess situations, propose effective solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to work harmoniously within cross-functional teams and influence others to prioritize safety.
