**Full time position (38 hours per week)**

**$70,000 - $72,000 annually**

James Concreting and Landscaping has spent years building and establishing a successful family-owned business. Primarily located in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, we are known for providing great service and quality output to all our clients. We offer a full range of landscaping services from the Western region of Melbourne to the Greater Geelong areas. Our business has true local knowledge and aims to build a strong reputation for providing the very best of services.

We are currently in need of a skilled Landscape Gardener with Australian working rights to join our team. You will be based in Ravenhall, Victoria, but will be required to travel to various sites for work as directed. Your remuneration will be between $70,000 - $72,000 (excluding superannuation), determined based on your skills and experience.

**The roles and responsibilities of this position are as follows**:

- Gardening, plant, cultivate, maintain, plan and construct gardens and landscapes, and inspect, diagnose, and treat trees and shrubs.
- Prepare and maintain seedbeds and growing sites.
- Planting trees, bushes, hedges, flowers, and bulbs.
- Preparing lawn areas with topsoil and planting grass and instant turf.
- Conduct landscape maintenance by weeding, trimming, fertilising, watering, and mowing, pruning, installing plant support and protection devices.
- Preparing plans and drawings, selecting materials and plants, and scheduling landscape construction.
- Setting out and installing hardscape and softscape structures.
- Constructing gravel and paved areas, walls, fences, pergolas, ponds, barbecues, and garden furniture.
- Spraying and dusting plants and trees to control insects and disease and felling diseased trees.
- Concreting and general maintenance duties.

**Required qualifications and experience are as follows**:

- At least an AQF Certificate III in a relevant industry; and
- At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
