Creative Designer

As we continue to invest our capabilities, we have a newly created role for a Creative Designer to join Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) on a permanent full - time basis.

Reporting to the Brand & Experience Manager, you will be our in-house expert responsible for designing and developing content to support marketing and communication materials, working alongside key external and internal audiences, contributing to achieving Southern Cross Care’s agreed business goals and objectives in alignment with brand guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Designing and developing optimised digital visuals for a range of mediums, including online graphics, templates and layouts for digital platforms and publishing.
- Designing a wide range of print-based materials and collateral, including flyers, brochures, posters and print ads that communicate effectively.
- Developing visually compelling presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and other design tools,
- Working with the internal Marketing and Communications team to support the execution of digital campaigns across owned and paid channels, including newsletters, eDMs, Google Display, Google AdWords, Google Grants, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.****:

- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Australian citizenship or Permanent residency essential (We do not offer sponsorship for this position)
- Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant experience in graphic design and digital/visual design or related discipline
- Proven experience in a Creative Designer position or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Applications notably Photoshop & InDesign
- Strong track record of successfully delivering projects and able to showcase a diverse portfolio
- Track record of collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives

**Desirables**:

- Experience with Premiere, Audition and Media Encoder
- Video production experience including shooting, editing and output
- Photography editing experience
- Experience in Aged Care, not - for -profit or similar
