**The opportunity**:
Vendor Specialist is responsible for the overall relationship and management of the end to end lifecycle of supplier management for Worldline Australia company entities. This incorporates the engagement, development and negotiation of supplier contracts, onboarding of suppliers, assisting in the relevant due-diligence of supplier engagements, financial management of supplier spend including budget and cost-savings initiatives and reporting, supporting tenders and industry benchmarking of supplier spend, and the management of contract compliance obligations.
**Your responsibilities include**:
- Development and negotiation of supplier contracts working closely with business stakeholders, finance and legal in the development of supplier contracts in accordance with company policies.
- Support the business with supplier onboarding/off-boarding processes that include supplier setup/maintenance, budget and forecasting, and working with business stakeholders and suppliers in the raising and paying of purchase orders and invoices as required. This may include supporting and completing any supplementation governance and business case documentation as part of Worldline’s investment and purchasing policies.
- Be the day to day contact for supplier engagement and ongoing relationship management, working closely with internal stakeholders in the monitoring of supplier contract and service performance obligations. This will include assistance with any resolution of escalations of supplier and Worldline issues to resolution, meeting regularly with suppliers in formal governance settings.
- Develop and work alongside business stakeholders to develop supplier strategies for the portfolio of suppliers that identify opportunities for improved business value and cost-savings in accordance with business strategy and Worldline’s procurement and purchasing policies.
- Identification and reporting of any supplier key risks and controls in the overall supplier goods and services being provided. This may include the participation and facilitation of supplier due-diligence, identification and management of existing and new risks as a result of changes to the environment and supplier landscape and industry trends.
- Management of the key contract obligations and deliverables including governance reporting, service levels management, and compliance obligations outlined in relevant contracts.
**Skills we need**:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing key supplier contracts, ideally in a financial services/payments environment.
- 3 years’ experience in leading strategic initiatives within a supplier management function or related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability in managing multiple supplier portfolios in a fast and dynamic and emerging business environment.
- Commercial acumen in the assessment and management of supplier risks and governance processes.
