**About the role**:
The Corporate Finance Associate is a key role in the business supporting financial modelling of “whole of business” quarterly and annual corporate valuations, input to treasury (debt raising) activities, scenario analysis on alternative capital structure and operating models, and of business cases for new data centre investments. The role is financially oriented and provides input to corporate strategy processes, which are managed by the Corporate Strategy team.

Other responsibilities include:
Corporate Valuation and Investment Properties Valuation Processes
- Manage CDC's Corporate Model, continuously reviewing and validating assumptions.
- Contribute to quarterly and annual corporate valuations, updating assumptions based on SLT and line manager feedback.
- Liaise with Independent Valuer for Corporate Valuation for all valuations.
- Liaise with Independent Valuer for Investment Properties for all valuations.
- Prepare scenario and sensitivity analyses for the board, senior leadership team, and other audiences.

Business Management, Reporting, and Budgeting
- Collaborate with business unit operational and financial personnel to maintain assumptions, prepare business insights, and provide analytical commentary.

Capital Management
- Support the Treasury team with funding scenario options, new debt raising processes, and reporting on CDC’s credit metrics.
- Investment Analysis and Business Growth.
- Collaborate with business unit personnel on modelling for new data centre investments.
- Respond to information requests and reporting for new investments, transactions, refinancing, and valuations for various stakeholders.

Perform other duties as directed.

**About you**:
This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in financial modelling who are looking to transition their career, possibly considering an in-house position as their next step. As an extension of the Corporate Financial Manager, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other senior financial leaders in our rapidly growing business.
- Proven advanced financial modelling experience with advanced Excel functionality, particularly in investment management principles (such as IRR, NPV), cash flow analysis, debt covenants, model architecture, and scenario analysis.
- A background in the infrastructure or property sectors is advantageous but not required.
- Adept at handling ambiguity and problem-solving, delivering high-quality, accurate, complete, and timely outcomes while maintaining confidentiality. Capable of learning business intricacies, adopting a commercial perspective on problems and opportunities, and earning respect within the organization and from external stakeholders.

**Essential**:
Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
